Judith Ethel "Judy" Turner

Judith Ethel "Judy" Turner, age 87, of Herrin, Illinois,  passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at her home in Herrin, Illinois.

Judith was born August 12, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Ralph and Hester E. (Fulton) Larson. Prior to retiring, Judy had worked as a nurse's aide and also as a waitress.   

She is survived by six children, Debbie Aaron, Brenda and Brian Julian, Steve and Cynthia Kesler, Allan and Storme Kesler, Carol Kesler, and Gary Kesler; two brothers, Ronald Larson and Glen Larson; and her many adored Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two daughters, Julia Vaughn and Becky Gibbs; two grandchildren, Steven Kesler and Terri Ann Seibeck; her parents, Ralph A. and Hester E. (Fulton) Larson; and two brothers, Bruce Larson and Wayne Larson.

Judy's daughter, Julia Ann Vaughn, passed away unexpectedly on the same day as Judy. Joint memorial services will be held for Judy as well as her daughter, Julia. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14th, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022, 12:00 PM at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Ivan Ryan officiating. Burial for Judy will follow at Herrin City Cemetery.
