Juanita J. Mayer

Juanita J. Mayer, 94, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2017 at 6:46 pm at Parkway Manor. Juanita was born January 8, 1923 in Marion the daughter of Charles and Maude (Cavitt) Smith. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her: Son – Gary Mayer (Debbie) of Marion Daughter – Cheryl Motsinger (Fred) of Marion Daughter – Donna Maginess of Jacksonville, North Carolina Seven grandchildren; Kevin Skoffic of Savannah, Tennessee Michael Motsinger (Cathy) of Marion Greg Mayer (Monica) of Lubbock, Texas Brian Motsinger (Marla) of Marion Melissa Skoffic of Ohio Curt Mayer (Brooke) of Marion Chelsea Mayer of Phoenix, Arizona Eight great grandchildren; Morgan, Dylan, Luke, Noah, Tyler, Landon, Cruz, Sammi Sister – Betty Ridgley of Marion Preceded by her Parents, Two Sisters and One Brother. Private services will be held at a later date, officiated by Rev. Kevin McNeely. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
