Joan Clark

Joan Clark, 69, of Herrin, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 4:49 pm at Herrin Hospital. Joan was born January 20, 1948 in Herrin the daughter of William and Margaret (Ford) Keeling. She married Oscar Clark on October 1, 1966 in Herrin and together they shared over 45 years of marriage until his death on August 18, 2012. She is retired, having worked in customer service. Survivors include: Son – Deon Clark of Herrin Daughter – Rhonda Clark of Fort Wayne, Indiana Son – Shaun Clark of Fort Wayne, Indiana Son – Michael Clark of Fort Wayne, Indiana Fifteen grandchildren Seven great grandchildren Brother – Billy Keeling of Texas Three sisters; Patricia Morris and husband Randy of Herrin Phyllis Linton of Herrin Betty Keeling of Herrin Preceded in death by her Parents, Husband – Oscar Clark and Brother – Robert Keeling. In accordance with Joan’s wishes she will be cremated and no services held. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with arrangements.
