Jerrie Frances Riley

Herrin- Jerrie Frances Riley, age 71, of Herrin, passed away at 11:29am on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at her home in Herrin. Jerrie was born in Chicago on April 17, 1946, the daughter of Jerry Lee and Mary Frances (Dawson) Harper.  She had worked at Norge, but also worked with the elderly as a private in-home care provider. Survivors include her daughter- Dana and Stephen Miller of Johnston City Son- Rob and Tammy Riley of Carterville Two Grandchildren- Blake and Brandon Riley of Carterville Two Brothers- Ron and Kay Harper of Johnston City Randy and Cindy Harper of Johnston City Three Sisters- Joann Krumrey of West Frankfort Sally Virginia and Phillip Webster of Herrin Cheryl Story of Christopher She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter- Cassandra Riley, and one sister- Pamela Sue Orr. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday July 24, 2017 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Terry Griffith and Rev. G.L. Keene officiating.  Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
