Jeffery Lynn Hendrickson

Jeffery L. Hendrickson, age 60, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Carrier Mills Nursing Home in Carrier Mills, Illinois.

Jeffery was born November 18, 1963 in Marion, Illinois, a son of Gary and Brenda (Terry) Hendrickson. Jeff grew up near New Dennison and graduated Marion High School in 1981. He worked at Hendrickson Body Shop for 3 years and joined the US Army. After his discharge, he returned home and continued work at Hendrickson Body Shop for 15 years. He then drove a truck until 2007. He married LaDonna K. Presley and she passed away March 4, 2014. Jeff enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, NASCAR, the St. Louis Cardinals and loved to mow grass. He spent time with friends daily drinking coffee at Riley's BBQ and spending time with family.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Hendrickson of Marion, IL; two siblings, Terry L. (Connie) Hendrickson of Marion, IL and Veronica (Tony Alsip) Hendrickson of Marion, IL; his niece, Amanda (Travis) Vickery, niece Kristina Hendrickson, nephew Josh Hendrickson, niece Tonya (Tim) Mathews, niece Christina Jodon, and nephew Jordan (Tayler) Hendrickson; 13 great-nieces & nephews and 1 great great niece. He is preceded in death by his wife LaDonna K. Hendrickson, his father, Gary L. Hendrickson and grandmother, Lela "Granny" Terry.

Visitation will be Friday, May 24th, 2024 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, 11:00 AM at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Cutsinger officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post 1301 and American Legion Post 147.
