Jeff Richardson

Johnston City- Jefferson Ernest William “Jeff” Richardson, 76, of Johnston City, passed away at 2:30 PM, Friday, November 24, 2017 at his home. Jeff was born on August 9, 1941 in Burr, MO to Ernest and Bertha (Sisco) Richardson. He was a hardworking man who owned and operated “Richardson’s Foreign Cars” in Johnston City. He was a skilled mechanic and body man who had over 50 years of experience. In his younger days he was a skilled automobile race driver. He won many regional and one national title while auto racing. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing when he was able. Survivors include- Longtime companion- Debbie Logsdon of Johnston City Son- Fred Richardson of Johnston City 7 brothers and sisters Many nieces, nephews and cousins He was preceded in death by his parent’s one brother- Charles and one sister- Martha. A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family. Memorial arrangements were made at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
