Jeanette Louise Brandon

Herrin- Jeanette Louise Brandon, age 83, of Herrin, passed away at 11:35pm on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Helia Healthcare of Energy. Jeanette was born in West Frankfort on October 25, 1933, the daughter of Johnie and Eda (DeZutti) Cavalli. She married Lee Roy Brandon in Herrin on July 4, 1952. He survives in Herrin. Mrs. Brandon was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. She was very active in the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Jeanette had a passion for art and watercolors and had won numerous Best of Show Awards at DuQuoin and Herrinfesta art shows.  She was also a member of the Herrin Women’s Club. Jeanette was an avid Southern Illinois University football and basketball fan, to be remembered fondly by the numerous referees to whom she assisted throughout the years. Ralph Brandon officiating. Inurnment will follow at San Carlo Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
