Eleanor L. Dannenhold

Eleanor L. Dannenhold, age 95, of Marion, passed away peacefully at her home at 7:19am on Friday, August 2, 2019.
Eleanor was born in Chicago on June 4, 1924, the daughter of John and Minnie Plantinga. She married Edward C. Dannenhold on March 16, 1946. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1999.
She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church in Energy.
Survivors include her daughter- Linda Dannenhold of MarionGranddaughter- Valerie and Ron Wolff of HerrinGreat Grandchildren- Tyler, Brandon, Ashley, and Jenna WolffGreat Great Granddaughter-LillianBeloved Cats- Smokey, Skeeterbug, and Lexie
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister- Betty Gambill.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 10am Friday, August 9, 2019 at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion with Rev. David Dyer officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
