Donnie Roberts

Donnie Roberts, age 86, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois.

Donnie was born December 20, 1935 in Cave City, Arkansas, a daughter of Don and Ruth (McLeod) Curtis. When she was young her family move to Kokomo, IN where she grew up. She married Bob McNally and started their family. She later married Dixon D. Roberts on March 18, 1975 in Kokomo, IN. Donnie worked proudly for GM Delco Electonics in the fabrication of computer chips. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a 65 year member of Eastern Star (serving as Past Worthy Matron).

She is survived by seven children, Robert C. McNally of Amesville, OH, Randy McNally of Swayzee, IN, Ruth Marie McNally of Phoenix, AZ, Steven McNally of Sharpsville, IN, stepson Richard Roberts of Houston, TX, stepdaughter Susan K. Nicolosi of Longs, SC, and stepson Mark Roberts of Fort Worth, TX and her several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her spouse Dixon D. Roberts; one son, Ronnie McNally; her parents, Don and Ruth Curtis; and one sister, Lee Owen Milligan.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022, 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery with burial to follow. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
