Donna Lee Michel

Herrin- Donna Lee Michel, age 70, of Herrin, passed away at 9:35am on Friday, June 23, 2017 at her home in Herrin. Donna was born on March 2, 1947, the daughter of Ernest A. and Marie Evelyn (Mitchell) Kuhnke. She married William O. "Bill" Michel in Lansing, IL on May 26, 1984. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2008. Donna had worked as a cashier, retiring from the Herrin Kroger store. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law- Randy and Nancy McClure of St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Tuesday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Miner Cemetery in Zeigler.
