Bush- Donald W. Messamore, age 52, of Bush, passed away at 11:55pm on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at his home, with his family by his side. Donald was born in McHenry, Illinois on June 5, 1966, the son of Judy Kay (Taylor) Holderfield and the late Curtis Dale Messamore. Survivors include his mother- Judy Holderfield of Bush Daughter- Ashley Dawn Messamore of Marion Three Grandchildren- Markadeyan George Lyn’zarius Jones Lyn’zavian Jones Brother- Kevin and Kim Jeralds of Herrin Brother- Kenneth and Gloria Taylor of Charleston, Indiana Brother- Curtis Dale and Karen Messamore of Carterville Several Aunts, Nieces, and Nephews He was preceded in death by his birth father- Curtis Dale Messamore, step-father- Malcolm T. “Mack” Holderfield, twin brother- Ronald Messamore, niece- Brittany Messamore, and aunt- Shirley Cobb. Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Ralph Brandon officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
