Guestbook

Wow, I considered myself young still today. Imagine that I worked with Delesta in 1978 at Hampton Manor, Herrin illinois.

Delesta was an absolute delight to work with.

I know now, that I was 18 and Delesta was 49. I know she had a hard life but she was a hard worker always giving 100%.

Delesta bought me an LP for Christmas (even though the cost was still richer than our gift exchange limit). I still have that LP - Sean Cassidy The Do Run Run. I'll always cherish that gift and her friendship. If only all nurses aides cared for their patients as Delesta did. She was a hero. I certainly hope she got the same care and respect as she gave while she was n the nursing hime in Marion.
