Danny Richard Adams

Marion- Danny Richard Adams, age 79, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home in Marion.

Danny was born in Marion on June 12, 1942, the son of Eugene and Flossie Mae (Conley) Adams. He married Linda Lou Parks at Arnold View Free Will Baptist Church on November 20, 1962. Together, they have shared fifty-eight years of marriage.  

He proudly served his country, serving in the United States Army. Danny worked as a farm equipment dealer for more than 35 years, retiring in 2009.

Survivors include his wife- Linda Adams of Marion

Daughter- Tammy and Jim Karl of Belleville

Daughter- Sally and Rick Baker of Marion

Seven Grandchildren- Brittany and Justin Simmons

     Makenzie Karl

     Lyndsee and Chance Ogden

     Jacee Baker

     Macey Adams

     Madysonn Karl

     Josie Baker

Six Great Grandchildren

Two Sisters- Flodene Henson of Carterville

     Diana Almaroad of Kansas

Neighbor and Best Friend- Jimmy Minton

He was preceded in death by his parents, son- Danny Britt Adams, brother- Harris Adams, and three sisters- Treciah Weiss, Virginia Garavalia, and Leah Burgess.

No services will be held at this time.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
