Daniel Taglia

Daniel Taglia, 62, of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11:08 am at his home.

Daniel was born December 28, 1958 in Oak Park the son of Daniel and Rosemary (Mott) Taglia.

Eldest brother of the Taglia "Clan," "brother" to so many more, crazy and fun brother, cousin, uncle and friend. Proud "father" to "fur babies, " Panda (2019), Sweetie Pie, and newest addition Little Miss Piddles. Proud member of the Chicago Tile Union since 1978. Retired from the Union in 2020 to enjoy retirement life in his home in Marion.

Dan had a love for music, fun and all that he considered friends and family.

Our Great Protector will forever be our "Spirit in the Sky".

Celebration of Life services for Dan and his mother Rosemary Taglia will be held on Saturday, July 17^th from 1 pm – 5 pm at the Baker Community Center, 101 S. 2^nd Street, St. Charles, Illinois  60174.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
