Crystal Jean Morgan, 51, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 5:50 pm at Marion Rehab.
Crystal was born April 11, 1965 in Marion the daughter of Virgil and Roberta (Lewis) Morgan.
Crystal, who was lovingly known as “Chubbs” to her family and friends loved puzzlebooks and reading soap opera magazines. She had a wonderful memory and would never forgot anyones name, age or date of birth. Crystal loved to sing and dance and she loved going to church at Marion Second Baptist Church. She graduated from Marion Schools and she participated in and won several awards in the Special Olympics.
Survivors include her;
Brother – Bob Morgan (Adele) of Shelbyville
Brother – Virgil Lee Morgan (Kay Davis) of Marion
Brother-in-law – Steve Nicholson of Marion
Sister-in-law – Carol Morgan of Carpentersville
Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews
Preceded by her Parents, Sister – Marlene Nicholson, two Brothers – Lester and Jimmy Morgan.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 1 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Robbey Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
