Clara June Baker, 72, of Marion, passed away on Monday, January 02, 2017 at 9:08 am at Parkway Manor in Marion surrounded by her family.
June was born January 9, 1944 in Herrin the daughter of Sperlin and Macil (Cheatham). She married Frankie Baker on June 13, 1963 in Herrin and together they shared over 53 years of marriage.
Anyone who ever met June always thought she was an angel. She complimented and found the good in everyone. She was never one who had anything bad to say about anyone. She never lost faith in God no matter the circumstances life gave her. During Karen’s brain tumor and ultimate death, she clung even harder to God. Her faith never failed her. While things didn’t always go the way she wanted, she knew God had a plan and never lost trust in Him.
