Charles Anthony Alton, 57, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, November 01, 2016 at 6:31 am at his home. Charles was born February 24, 1959 in LaMesa, California the son of James Alton and Belvia (Scott) Robbins. He married Lisa Hudnall on May 1, 1998 at the First Baptist Church of Windsor, South Carolina, she survives of Marion. He worked in maintenance in the hotel industry. Survivors include his; Wife – Lisa Alton of Marion Children; Lena Alton of Vincennes, Indiana Tai Alton-Catiller of Washington, Indiana Keshia Rickard of Vincennes, Indiana Tracy Starcher of Goose Creek, South Carolina Robert “Bobby” Starcher of Marion Felicia Starcher of Marion Dianne “Ashley” Prokop of Wagener, South Carolina Granddaughter “adopted as daughter” – Aleya Alton of Marion Fourteen grandchildren Brothers and sisters; Danny Powell of Chicago Diana Dunmire of Marion Clinton Alton of Marion Gary Alton of Pittsburg Gregory Alton of Marion Dawn Marks of Creal Springs Preceded by his Parents, Son – Philip Alton and Brother – Shawn Alton Memorial visitation will be Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 4 pm – 7 pm at the Marion Center Banquet Room, 1301 Enterprise Way, Marion. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available the day of the service at the Banquet Room or by mail to Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, Illinois 62959.
