Casey Allen Haynes

Casey Allen Haynes, age 43, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at his residence in Marion, Illinois.

Casey was born January 21, 1979 in Marion, Illinois, a son of Terriel W. Haynes and Rebecca K. (Dodig) Parks. Casey grew up in Marion and attended Marion schools where he was very active in sports. He was part of the Marion Jr. High State Champion Basketball Team. At age 10 he started playing Pool with his Dad and Grandpa. He was a accomplished Pool player and taught Pool and won many tournaments and participated in several Pool Leagues. He graduated Carbondale High School in 1997. He worked at NBTY for 6 years in Maintenance, and worked at Liberty Village Assisted Living doing Security and Maintenance. Casey loved sports and hanging out with his many friends at Bar-B-Ques and really enjoyed his music. Casey was a member at Warder Street Baptist Church.

He is survived by one Daughter, Jaelyn D. Haynes of Centralia, IL; his Parents, Terriel W. Haynes of Grand Prairie, TX and Rebecca K. Parks of Pittsburg, IL; two Half Sisters, Paige A. Eldridge of Orland Park, IL and Haley Haynes of Grand Prairie, TX; his Paternal Grandparents, Ronnie & Rose Riley of Marion, IL; Mother of Jaelyn; Lakeyla Spearman of Centralia, IL, his Father Figure Larry Ross of Marion, IL, several Aunts & Uncles, and many Cousins. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Lloyd & Doris Dodig.

Graveside service will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, 10:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Gaylon Parks officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
