Carmen R. Hall

Herrin- Carmen R. Hall, age 87, of Herrin, passed away at 12:53pm on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Sunshine Gardens in Marion. Carmen was born in Colp on November 8, 1929, the daughter of Harry and Della (Brandon) Glenn.  She married Thomas M. Hall in Herrin on July 24, 1948. He preceded her in death in March 25, 2010. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Second Baptist Church.  She was the retired owner of Carmen’s Beauty Shop. Survivors include her daughter- Carla Hall of Madison, South Dakota Two Grandchildren- David Ballard of Marion Crystal and Charles Robertson of Marion Three Great Grandchildren- Jaden, Dylan, and Easton Robertson Brother-in-law- Ron Campbell of Pennsylvania She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter- Elesa Ballard. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Herrin City Cemetery with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Family and friends may gather directly at the cemetery.  Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
