Cari Jo (Mulholland) Cole, age 27, of Baraboo, Wisconsin and a former resident of Marion, died at 6:08 A.M. Sunday, October 7, 2001 in Baraboo as a result of an automobile accident. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion on Wednesday, October 10th. The funeral service will be on Thursday, October 11th at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery with military rites by VFW Post #1301 of Marion. Memorials may be made in the memory of Cari Jo (Mulholland) Cole to a trust for her three children. Cari Jo was currently working as a hostess at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving her country from 1998 to 2000 as an Emergency Medical Technician. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Marion. She had attended Marion schools until her Junior year. She graduated from the Baraboo (Wisconsin) High School in 1992. While at Marion High School, she was a member of the National Honor Society and a cheerleader. She was a former Little Miss Williamson County. She enjoyed listening to music and being with her friends. Her three children were precious to her, and she cherished the time she had with them. Cari Jo was born on March 12, 1974 in Carbondale to Charles & Sharon (Hooker) Mulholland. Her mother preceded her in death. Cari is survived by her father and stepmother, Kim (Sims) Mulholland, of Marion. She is also survived by her two daughters and a son, Alexis Rhea, Aerial Lynn, and John Paul Cole, a special friend, Jon Larson; and the father of her three children, John Paul Cole, all of Baraboo, Wisconsin. In addition, she leaves two brothers and a sister-in-law, Danny & Becky Robinson of Johnston City and Darrell Robinson of Marion; a half-brother, Rick Mulholland of Decatur, Alabama; a half-sister and her husband, Lori & Bill Thomas of Lenzburg; two step-brothers, Nathan Nichelson and Kuby Mulholland, both of Marion; one niece and one nephew, Charli and Brandon Robinson of Johnston City; her godparents, Pam & Roger King of Marion; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John & Carrie Hooker and Leonard & Margaret Mulholland.
