Brenda Lue Norris

Brenda Lue Norris, age 77, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at her home in Marion, Illinois.

Brenda was born July 31, 1945 in Herrin, Illinois, a daughter of Enois W. and Wanda R. (Holland) Pinkston. She married Carl Leon Norris on May 14, 1963 in Jackson, MO. Carl passed away April 11, 2022. Brenda grew up in Hurst, IL. She married Carl and was a wonderful homemaker raising her children. She was a very devout Christian, attending the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Marion, Illinois.

She is survived by four sons, Tim (Sue) Norris of Johnston City, IL, Bruce (Mary Jo) Norris of Marion, IL, Michael S. (Barb) Norris of Marion, IL, and James Norris of Marion, IL; eight grandchildren, Brandon O'Connor, Britney Norris, Amanda Norris, Shane (Ashley) Norris, Crystal Norris, Mark (Meghan) Norris, Shannon (Mark) Anger and Kevin (Sarah) Norris: nineteen great grandchildren, Kaylee Tolbert, Gauge Long, Breanna Long, Alexis Jones, Jacob Norris, Ryleigh Beavers, Stella Dilillo, Tyler Norris, Makenzie Norris, Annalyn Patschke, Ava Jo O'Connor, Keegan Norris, Brylynn Norris, Cameron Norris, Quinn Norris, Rachel Warner, Steven West Billy, Remington Norris and Kevin Norris, Jr. ; two siblings, Walter Pinkston of Hurst, IL and Nancy Pinkston of Hurst, IL. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Leon Norris and her parents, Enois W. and Wanda R. Pinkston.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 14, 2023, 10:00 AM at Norris Family Cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
