A. Louise Pease

A. Louise Pease, 89, of Carbondale, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 8:45 am in Carbondale Memorial Hospital. Louise was born December 24, 1927 in Marion the daughter of Ralph and Vada (Scott) Sumner. She married Eugene Pease on November 9, 1947 in Marion and together they shared over 57 years of marriage until his death on December 28, 2004. She was a member of University Baptist Church in Carbondale. Louise retired from Illinois Central Railroad/Amtrak. Survivors include her: Son – Dr. Gerald Pease of Watersmeet, Michigan Daughter – Sherry Hingtgen Broker and husband Larry of Champaign Son – Rick Pease and wife Laura of Scottsdale, Arizona Son – Mike Pease of Marion Five grandchildren; Jeff Hingtgen and wife Erin of Gurnee Erica Swartz and husband Seth of Champaign Allison Pease-Fuentes and husband Ricky of Phoenix, Arizona Molly Pease of Phoenix, Arizona Jenifer Pease of Phoenix, Arizona Four great grandchildren Nine nieces and nephews Preceded by her Parents, Husband – Eugene Pease and sister Mary Belle Reed Funeral services will be Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 3 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.  Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday from 2 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
