Addie Francis Buttrum

Addie Francis Buttrum 80, of Pittsburg, went to her Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 3:25 pm at Herrin Hospital.

Addie was born May 27, 1940 in Dykersburg the daughter of Harry and Madge (Hendrickson) Hosmon.  She married Edward Buttrum on June 4, 1957 in Marion and together they shared over 44 years of marriage until his death on April 1, 2002.

She retired from Olin Corporation

Brother-in-law – John McMillen of Peoria

Sister-in-law – Nina Buttrum of Pittsburg

Brother-in-law – Danny Buttrum of Murphysboro

Brother-in-law – Ronnie Buttrum of Pittsburg

Preceded by her Parents, Husband – Edward Buttrum, infant son - Eddie Wayne Buttrum, brothers – Gerald Hosmon, Estes Hosmon and sisters – Sue Lomax, Judith McMillen, brother-in-law – Billy Buttrum.

Graveside services will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 1 pm at Coal Bank Springs Cemetery with Rev. John Howat officiating.  Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
