It was an honor and a privilege to have worked closely with Rick serving our nurses who served our members who previously served this great country of ours. I know Rick was so grateful to have been able to spend time with his grandchildren. He loved to fish. He was a humble man who had the veracity and spirit to have taken on the world. He made a difference in peoples by serving as a strong advocate and a champion of justice. He will be very sadly missed and very fondly remembered as the gentle giant of a man he was.

Rick was an awesome co-worker. He always had a great story to tell and knew the best places to eat. He will be missed. I remember him always fondly speaking of his grandchildren and his garden. Also, his love for Amy Schumer, lol. May God bless and keep your family during this time.

Rick was a stand-up comic disguised as a labor rep. His humor cut through anything he saw as phony or self-serving. He and I became great friends during his time at INA. I am sorry I can’t be there for his final journey. He will be missed.
