Mark James Taylor, age 59, of Carlyle, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese, Illinois.
Mark was born on April 10, 1960 in St. Louis MO, to Jack Howard and Imogene Iris (Follis) Taylor. They proceeded him in death. He married Brenda K. Corrie on December 13, 2002 and she survives.
Mark enjoyed family time with his children and grandchildren. He loved helping others when they needed him. He would give anyone anything he could if that would help. He lived with his caregiver Jesse Mansker, they enjoyed spending time together watching television and just talking. He loved Jesse’s dogs; Brownie, Storm and Luigi.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda K. Taylor; one brother, John Martin Taylor; one sister, Sandra Jean Taylor; his children, Mark Anthony Dean (Stephanie) Pauly; four grandchildren, Carson, LeeLand, Chevy, Shayla; his step-children who he considered his own, Christina M. Armes, Cassie lee, Scott (Brenie) Pauly, Adam (Lyndsie) Ferrari, David Foutch, Jennifer Foutch; six great grandchildren, Kameron, Lukas, Skylar, Casey, Jaia, Julia; his nieces and nephews, Denny Townsley, Roy Townsley, Krystle Townsley, Brittney Townsley, Charlie Taylor Jr.; and his great nieces and nephews, Avary Rene, Austin, Lexi, Alisa, Jamiah.
Mark was proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers; Terry Howard and Charles Douglas; grandson Gavin; great grandson Aiden and great nephew Denny III.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting with arrangements.
