She was a wonderful mom, grandmother, great grandmother friend, advisor and educator.
I have wonderful memories of the fun times we had in Germany and on my visit to Illinois.
She definitely has a place in heaven.

Mrs. McCoy was the mom of my dear friend Janice, and I grew up visiting their house at the “top of the hill” in Lisle. Mrs. McCoy was always welcoming and kind and I felt like one of the family when I visited.
She taught many children in Lisle and her legacy is in teaching and education. Her daughters and at least one granddaughter that I know of, continue that legacy of being life-long learners and teachers.
I will miss Janet, but know she’s in heaven and back with Bill. Rest In Peace!
    Love, Peg Proud-Edwards

What a kind and gentle soul MeMe was. She always dressed like she had somewhere important to be with her purse draped over her wrist. I loved that about her. Her best accessory was her smile. There wasn’t a choir, drama or band performance that Kathryn was in that MeMe wasn’t present for. Family was important to her. Prayers for comfort and strength to Janice and Kathryn and the family as they say goodbye to such a sweet lady.

A delightful Lady to have for a neighbor at our
place at Lake Egypt. Actually, she sold me the house across from her place. A neat person to have known.
    A true Christian.
