Marion- DUSTIN SHANE BANDY, age 27, of Herrin passed away at 12:30 PM, Saturday October 1, 2016 at his home in Marion.

Dustin was born on February 15, 1989, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to Warren and Michelle (Heath) Bandy.

He worked as a laborer in the construction business for various companies in the area.

Survivors include-

Mother- Michelle Heath and companion Jack Delaporte of Marion

Father- Warren Bandy of Zeigler

Son- Trysten Heath Bandy of DuQuoin

Sister- Samantha Bandy of Marion

Grandparents- John and Diane Heath of Herrin

Several aunts, uncles and cousins

Many close friends

He was preceded in death by his brother- Warren Heath Bandy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Pastor Kerry Cox of the Southern Illinois Worship Center will officiate, Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Thursday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
