Norma (Hastings) Horn

Norma Janet (Hastings) Horn, 75, of Roanoke, Virginia formerly of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, July 01, 2014 at 1:00 am at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Norma was born February 4, 1939 the daughter of Irvan and Susie (Klope) Hastings. She married William A. Horn on August 30, 1955 in Murphysboro and together they shared over 55 years of marriage until his death on December 20, 2010.

Norma was a beautician, having a shop in her home. Following retirement she continued to style hair for her family members.

Survivors include her;
Son – James David Horn and wife Sue of Roanoke, Virginia
Two granddaughters – Gillian & Natalie Horn of Roanoke, Virginia
Two sisters;
Joyce Bolton of Elkhorn, Wisconsin
Loretta Bovle of West Frankfort

Preceded by her Parents, Husband, Daughter – Becky and Brother – Wendell Hastings.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 7, 2014 at 1 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Ivan Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.

For those who prefer memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, Illinois 62959.
