Pittsburg - Sulah “Peggy” Owens, 69, died at 7:25 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2003 at her home.
She was born April 8, l933 in Carterville to Albert and Alice Jordan Walker.
She was a homemaker and a member of Whiteash Community Church.

Her parents, two daughters, Deborah Lynn Price and Marianne Phillips, infant granddaughter, 5 brothers, Clyde, Albert, Everett, George and Bill Walker and two sisters, Belle Westbrook and Velma Lyell preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Ed Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
