Kathleen Marie Buckingham, age 76, of Herrin, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Kathleen was born in Belleville on November 4, 1944, the daughter of Wesley William and Maude Rosamonde (North) Beimfohr. She married Ronald Dean Buckingham at the Bridal Cave in Camdenton, Missouri on September 10, 1966. He preceded her in death on September 6, 1997.

Prior to her retirement, Kathleen had worked in sales most of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Survivors include:

Daughter- Melanie and Carl Janssen of Herrin

Daughter- Rhonda Buckingham of Herrin

Daughter- Kristi and John Corder of Herrin

Son- Tim and Elizabeth Buckingham of Marion

Grandchildren- Trevor and wife Kelsi Denman

     Dylan and Wyatt Denman

     Ashley and Johnny Corder

     Hailey and Chandler Buckingham

     Levi and Jacob Janssen

Great grandchildren- Dawson and Laila Denman

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother- William Wesley Beimfohr, and sister- Vivian Korelc.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. A time of visitation will be held from noon until 2pm on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.

Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, social distancing and the wearing of masks will be required.
