Locations

Both facilities are located in the heart of the cities they serve. Mitchell Hughes is a beautiful and stately two-story ante-bellum home. Johnson Hughes was built in 1901. The upstairs is an apartment for one of the funeral directors. The building is traditional with red brick and decorative latticework. Both facilities are totally handicap accessible.

Mitchell-Hughes

The Marion facility is filled with rich hues of melon, evergreen, rose, peach, blue cranberry and buff. The new family room stretches front to back with intimate seating and small couches clustered around a fireplace. A plant garden peaks over the entry stairs in the graciously appointed entry with hanging brass chandeliers.

Johnson-Hughes

The Herrin facility is comprised of a multitude of blue hues with cream and cranberry accents. The main chapel features Italian stained glass windows that welcome light. The chapel font is made of polished cherry wood. There are two main chapels and a third in the newer selection room. The family lounge has comfortable chairs and reading material.
