Terry Ray Walker

Herrin- Terry Ray Walker, age 49, of Herrin, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Sumner, IL. Terry was born in Herrin on June 25, 1966, the son of Raymond and Daisy (Price) Walker.  He was a member of the Jubilee Tabernacle in DeSoto.  Terry had previously worked at the Woodruff Supply Company in Benton. Survivors include his parents- Raymond and Daisy Walker of Herrin Two sisters- Tracy Deaton of Herrin      Kristy and Clayton Jany of Johnston City Nephews- Jeffrey Shadowens of Owensboro, KY      Joshua Shadowens of Herrin      Douglas and Jazz Crider of Johnston City Nieces- Brittany Jordan of Herrin      Elizabeth Shadowens of Herrin      Heather and Jesse Reed of Freeman Spur Seventeen Great Nieces and Nephews Seven Aunts and One Uncle He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents- Frank Walker and Anna Mae Walker-Hampton and his maternal grandparents Edward Price and Edith Price- Walker. A time of visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.  Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Hurricane Cemetery with Rev. Don Colson officiating. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the family.
