Herrin - Mary Joyce Ogden, 68, died at 11:30 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2001 at her home. Mrs. Ogden was born January l0, l933 to Ernest and Novella (Hendershot) McCain. She married Glenn Junior Ogden on May l0, l951 in Crainville, IL. He survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Herrin. Mary was artistic and creative and brought joy to all those who knew her. Survivors include: 4 sons and 2 daughters in law - Randy Don Ogden - Herrin Dennis & Kim Ogden - Johnston City, IL Christopher and Brenda Ogden - Oak Park, IL Charles Kevin Ogden - Marion 4 daughters and 4 sons in law - Cathy & John Goebel - Herrin Susan and Dan Anderson - Vienna, IL Karen & Mike Ripley - Murphysboro, IL Kimberly Diane & James Stephenson - Herrin 31 grandchildren l6 great grandchildren Her parents and one brother, Bill McCain preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at l:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2001 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Brad Harlow and Rev. Jeff Wiggs will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
