Marsha Diane (Dunn) Odum

Marsha Diane (Dunn) Odum, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at St. Louis DePaul Hospital.

Marsha was born April 8, 1949 in Carbondale the daughter of Henry Willis “Hank” and Helen Virginia (Grisham) Dunn.  She married Lorenzo Dow Odum III at the Marion Third Baptist Church on June 22, 1968 and together they have shared over 51 years of marriage.

She was a member of Marion Third Baptist Church and Marsha retired as the Human Resource Manager at the Marion VA Hospital.  She was owner of Lormar Insulation.

Survivors include her; Husband – Dow Odum of Marion

Son – Matthew Odum and wife Tawnya of Marion

Grandchildren:

  Drew Odum

  Peyton Odum

  Kara Odum

Brother – Dan Dunn and wife Sharon of Marion

Brother-in-law – Steve Odum and wife Mary of Collierville, Tennessee

Several nieces and nephews

Preceded by her Parents.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11 am at Marion Third Baptist Church with Robbie Lindhorst officiating.  Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 – 8 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home and on Saturday from 10 am until the time of service at the church.

For those who prefer memorials may be made to Marion Third Baptist Church.  Envelopes will be available at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, Illinois  62959 or at the church on the day of the service.
