Josephine Nozotti

Herrin - Josephine C. Bartoni Nozotti, 92, 3l3 North 21st , died at 3:00 a. m. on Sunday, May 20, 2001 at her residence. Mrs. Nozotti was born February 2, l909 in Herrin to John and Gudditti (Pedreti) Bartoni. She married John J. Nozotti on January 31, l953 in Herrin. He died December 30, l99l. She was a saleslady for BFJ Furniture Company. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Survivors include: 2 nephews - Charles and Dottie Bartoni - West Frankfort Bill and Dorothy Bartoni - St. Louis, MO 2 nieces - Judy and Larry Ogden - West Frankfort Jo Ann Marlow Carpenter - Herrin Her parents, husband, three brothers, Louis, Julius and Charles Bartoni and one sister, Mary Marlow and one nephew Tom Bartoni preceded her in death. Graveside interment services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Msg. Ken Schaefer will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to OLMC/St. Mary's Education Foundation, Hospice of SI or the San Carlo Cemetery Fund and will be accepted at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Johnson Hughes in charge of arrangements.
