Jerry D. Knight

Jerry D. Knight, age 34, of Creal Springs, died at 12:35 P.M. on Sunday, May 27th, 2001, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital. Visitation for Mr. Knight was from 11:30 A.M. Thursday, May 31st, until the service at 1:30 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, followed by burial at Webb Cemetery in Tunnel Hill. Rev. Robert Schierbaum officiated. Mr. Knight was born November 10, 1966 at Mt. Vernon to Neil & Eva (Sinks) Knight. He was a construction laborer. He was of the Protestant faith. He is survived by his parents of Creal Springs; two sons, Christopher D. and Dustin J. Knight, both of Creal Springs; four daughters, Yvonne Lynn, Brandi Lee, Kendra Nicole, and Stormi Gabrille Knight, all of Herrin. He is also survived by three brothers, Deuane and Darrell Knight of Creal Springs and Larry Knight of Herrin, and three sisters, Carolyn Bush of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lola (& Bob) Wolaver of Marion, and Diane (& Michael) Simmons of Creal Springs, as well as several nieces and nephews.
