James H. Morgan

Marion James H. Morgan, age 52, died Monday, April 2nd at 12:15 P.M. at his home. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4th at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30-2:30 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Mr. Morgan was born January 25, 1949, in Carbondale, Illinois, to Virgil and Roberta (Lewis) Morgan. Survivors include the following: His mother, Roberta Morgan of Marion His wife, Betty Schram Morgan of Marion One step-son, Charles (& Janet Schram) of Clinton, IL One step-daughter, Nancy Schram Frye of Marion, IL One step-daughter, Mary Pelengaris of Naperville, IL One step-daughter, Tina Downey of Herrin, IL 5 Step-Grandchildren: Jennifer Wilkey of Johnston City Michael Doggett of Naperville Brian Doggett of Champaign Charles Hollenbeck of Herrin Celeste Schram of Clinton 2 Step-Greatgrandchildren: Autum Clark of Marion Eric K. Snider of Johnston City 3 Brothers: Bob & Adele Morgan of Shelbyville, IL Lester & Carol Morgan of Marion Virgil Morgan of Marion 2 Sisters: Marlene & Steve Nicholson of Marion Crystal Morgan of Marion Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his father. He was a member of the Eagles. He was of the Baptist Faith. Arrangements are by Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
