Ella Louise Doetch, 92, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 4:30 am at Parkway Manor. Louise was born February 4, 1924 in Carbondale the daughter of Teddy and Irene (Wright) Crawshaw. She married Willie Doetch on June 20, 1942 in Arkansas and together they shared over 54 years of marriage until his death on July 5, 1996. She was a homemaker, a member of Grange Hall Freewill Baptist Church. She volunteered at the Goreville Ministerial Alliance also, worked helping to serve lunch at Camp Jericho. Survivors include her;Five daughters; Sharon Morgenthaler of Decatur, Alabama Millie Blankenship of Johnston City June Wollard and husband Waldo of Marion Brenda Morgenthaler and husband Homer of Denham Springs, Louisiana Tena Brookmyer and husband Randy of Carbondale Eleven grandchildren; Scott Morgenthaler and wife Karen of Corona, California Pam Morgenthaler of Decatur, Alabama Shayne Blankenship and wife Jennifer of Johnston City Angel Schindler of Orlando, Florida Kevin Blankenship and wife Julie of Carterville Brian Wollard and wife Debbie of Shawneetown Lisa Baltzell and husband Carl of Pittsburg Dana Simpson and husband Shane of Zachary, Louisiana Jennifer Robertson and husband Chad of Hammond, Louisiana Eric Brookmyer of Cape Girardeau, Missouri Justin Brookmyer of Murphysboro Twenty-four Great Grandchildren Eight Great Great Grandchildren plus one due in May Five Sisters; Doris Dover of DeSoto Jeanette McGee and husband Philip of Makanda Joann Cargine of Bellwood Violet Covington and husband Harold of Carbondale Anna Mary Rushing and husband Everett of Carbondale Several nieces and nephews Preceded by her Parents, Husband - Willie Doetch, Son - Larry Doetch, Daughter - Peggy Ann Doetch, Grandson - Chris Morgenthaler, two Sisters - Betty Hiller, Virginia Chamness and Brother - Bob Crawshaw. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin McNeely officiating. Burial will follow in Hiller Cemetery in Carbondale. Visitation will be Saturday from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the Charity of your choice.
