Marion-Robert Eugene “Bobby” Francis Jr, 57, passed away at 1:50pm on June 19, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Robert was born on January 6, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert and Sylvia (Hightower) Francis Sr.
He was a groundman operator with IBEW local 702 at West Frankfort for 33 years. He enjoyed traveling as a groundman and being with all of his co-workers. He also enjoyed being with his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.

Graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion, on Saturday, June 22 at 11 am with the Rev Jerry Schell officiating. Visitation will be held at Blue Funeral Home in Marion on Saturday, June 22 from 9 am until the time of the service.
