    Kay, Rich, and family,

Kay, I was shocked to hear of your father’s death. We were just talking about him last week. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Back in August 1965, your dad hired me. I was a nervous kid who wasn’t having any luck finding a job. Your dad looked at my address and said where do you live? I said back in Lord’s Corner past the missile base. He said I know where that is and I live in Paderborn. He told me “I know you will work, you are a farm girl” He hired me on the spot and 35 years later I retired from the state. He was my boss for several years and we were also friends. My husband and I visited Egypt Lake a few years ago and were driving along this road and there was a big rock with VanHorn on it. I said stop; and, we visited with your dad. He was a very nice man, boss and friend. You have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your father, Sincerely, Mary Rapp Kincaid.

    For Kay…….

Sorry for the loss of your Dad.

I still have fond memories of a time when I road my motorcycle from St.Libory down to Crab Orchard to see you after you moved (40 years ago).

Your Dad and Mom took us out water-skiing, and I remember we had a great time.

    Ahhh, to be 16 again……

    Sorry we lost touch……

    John
