Marion-Andrew Nathaniel McKinney, 24, passed away at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at St. Louis University Hospital.
Andrew was born on July 12, 1989 to Mark and Beth (Crawford) McKinney in Marion. He married Brenda Denise Chapman on March 27, 2011 at Coal Bank Spring in Crab Orchard. She survives of Marion.
Andrew enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He liked good food, his horses, working on his truck and he loved children.
Survivors Include: his wife, Brenda Denise McKinney; father and step mother Mark and Marcia McKinney of Marion; mother Beth Crawford-McKinney of Owensboro, Kentucky; his brothers, Jeremy and wife Mikka McKinney of Marion and Branden McKinney of Marion; paternal grandmother Barbara McKinney of Wapella, Illinois and nieces, CoCo McMurty, Willow Drew McKinney, Ryleigh Reynolds and Brayden Diles.
He was preceded in death by both grandfathers and a grandmother.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev. Kevin McNeely officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at the funeral home.
