Ted Russell Clendenin, age 68, of Marion, passed away peacefully at 3:36pm on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his home in Marion.
Ted was born on May 23, 1953, the son of Theodore and Lucinda K. (Groves) Clendenin. He had worked as a tree trimmer for CIPS and as a car salesman.
Ted was a member of the Marion Elks Lodge #800 for more than 44 years, where he proudly held offices for the Lodge, district and state. He also served as the Elk’s past district deputy to the Grand Exalted Ruler. Ted was very passionate about his involvement with the Elks. Ted was also a member of the Marion American Legion and VFW Posts.
Ted is survived by his companion- Rebecca Bourland of Marion
Son and daughter-in-law- Craig and Holly Sonnenburg of Melborne, Florida

He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 11 am at the Marion Elks Lodge #800.
