Robert L. Pennock, Jr, 68, of Marion, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 11:30 am at his home.

Robert was born August 1, 1952 in Moberly, Missouri  the son of Robert L. Sr. and Bertha Jean (LeMarc) Pennock.

He was a Navy veteran and was an automotive instructor.

Survivors include his: Son – Joseph Pennock and wife Courtney Pink of Wellsville, Pennsylvania

Daughter – Angela Pennock Mailot and husband Brian of Columbus, Ohio

Nephews; Caleb Pennock and wife Shawna of Marion

Elijah Pennock of Marion

Preceded by his Parents, brother and sister-in-law – Alain and Kim Pennock

Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 from2 pm – 4 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.  Military rites will be presented at 4 pm by members of the Marion VFW Post #1301, American Legion Post #147 and the flag detail unit of the Navy.

    Condolences to the family. I met Bob on one of countless boy scout outings and became friends immediately. Most memorable was a family camp where he walked around with a toy tugboat on a string, pulling it behind him. We have called him “Tugboat” ever sense.
