On Sunday, September 5, 2021, Glenda Edwards, loving daughter, sister, and aunt passed away in Amboy, Illinois.

Glenda was born on November 13, 1954, with her twin sister, Brenda Tranka, in Herrin, Illinois.  She is survived by her twin sister, her sister Mildred Dianne (Rex) Schmall, her brother-in-law Greg Currens, her nephews, Tony Tranka, Jr., Brian Tranka, Brent (Heidi) Schmall, Robert (Elizabeth) Edwards, and her nieces, Roxanne (Ken) Roat, Angelisa (Ronnie) Bowman, Shari Edwards, Tasha (Joe) Edwards, and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Rosemary and Wesley Edwards, her brother John (Edie) Edwards, her sister Pamela Currens, her brother-in-law Tony Tranka, Sr., and her sister-in-law Edie Edwards.

In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog, Bambi, and crocheting.

Glenda was a Quality Control Inspector at Borg Warner Automotive, Dixon, Illinois, until her retirement in 2014.

There will be a private graveside service for the family at Liberty Cemetery #8 in Johnston City, Illinois on Saturday, September 11, 2021.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
