Betty L. Tyler, 90, of Pittsburg, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 7:48 am at Parkway Manor.

Betty was born June 1, 1930 in Williamson County the daughter of Orval and Marie (Browning) Fowler.  She married John Robert Tyler on February 9, 1950 in Benton and together they shared 60 years of marriage until his death on February 2, 2010.

She was a homemaker and was a Avon Lady until her husband’s retirement.

Survivors include her: Son – Kenneth Tyler (Faye) of Pittsburg

Daughter – Barbara Emery of Pittsburg

Two granddaughters;

  Kentra Wells (Tony)

  Jessi Emery

Preceded by her Parents, Husband, three brothers – Frances Fowler, Wallace Fowler, Terry Fowler and sister Linda Clark

Funeral services will be Friday, March 26, 2021 at 1 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Lee officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.

    Ken & Barb, your Mom was the kindest woman. She loved family and the reunions in the woods are memories we will all treasure. Also, made the best chicken & dumplings ever. Her giggle made everyone laugh. So sorry for your loss.
