Sarah L. Lesley, age 31, of Herrin, Illinois, formerly of Allegan, Michican, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 7:29 p.m. in Herrin Hospital.
Sarah was born on October 6, 1988 in Allegan, Michican, a daughter of Deanna Marie (Lesley) and Steven Landon Zahl. She worked for S.I. Bowl in Carterville, Illinois. Sarah loved crafting, cooking, bowling and most importantly, spending time with her children.
Those who were closest to Sarah, left to mourn her passing, are her significant other, Dave Roberts; her three children, Mathew Roberts, Idalia Lesley and Bentley Lesley-Roberts; her grandmother, Carolyn Gilson; four sisters, Nicole TenBrink, Stephanie Zahl-Walton, Shelby Weaver, Faith Weaver; two brothers, Dustin Weaver and Cody Weaver. Other survivors include numerous other relatives and friends.
Sarah’s wishes were to be cremated and a private memorial service is being held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the family, in care of Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home; 201 S. 13th Street; Herrin, IL 62948.
