Marion- E. Nell Christian, age 76, of Marion, passed away at 1:50am on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Integrity Health Care of Marion.

Nell was born in McNairy, Tennessee on May 11, 1944, the daughter of Richard Earnest and Amy (Wilson) Tull. She married William Edward Christian in Morris, Illinois on July 26, 1991. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1993.

Nell was a member of the Marion Church of Christ. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a prep cook for Honey Bakers in Marion.  

Survivors include:

Four Sons- James Michael (Trish) Blacklock of Joliet

     John Dixon (Kathy) Blacklock of Manteno

     Richard Allen (Carla) Blacklock of Marion

     Robert Daniel (Christy) Blacklock of Johnston City

14 Grandchildren

18 Great Grandchildren

Brother- Jerry Neal Tull of East Peoria

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers- Jimmy and Sam Tull.

As per her wishes, Mrs. Christian will be cremated. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
