Energy- Robert E. Robison, age 83, of Energy, peacefully passed away at 4:00pm on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Herrin Hospital, with his loving wife by his side.

Bobby Earl Robison was born February 28, 1936 in Hurst, the son of Ceivel Earl and Mary Captola (Jerrill) Robison. He married Gloria Jean Garavaglia in Hurst on March 16, 1968. Together, they shared more than fifty-one years of marriage. From this union came two children- Bob Robison and his wife Rosario and Vonda Rosado and her husband Bill.  

Bob overcame many physical obstacles in his life and yet lived his life to the fullest. Prior to his retirement, Robert was had worked as an executive manager in the garment industry, and even owned his own garment factory. He was a man that loved his neighbors, yet remained private. His favorite place was the comfort of his own home, right next to his wife, Gloria. He loved watching Cardinal Baseball and westerns on TV. He was most proud of his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren.  He treasured his visits from his great grandson- Braxton, his little buddy. His greatest accomplishment in life was leading by example with his wife to teach his children to be brave, strong, and independent. A trait that will pass down for generations.

The family will hold a private celebration of Robert’s life at a later date. Final arrangements are being handled by Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
