Virginia Waldron

Energy- Virginia M. Waldron, 77, of Energy, passed away at 1:45 AM, Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Helia Healthcare of Energy.

Virginia was born on December 16, 1941 in Six Mile Township, Illinois to Harvey Bryan and Lillian (Miller) Browning.  She was a strong, hardworking and outspoken woman who retired as a cook from Mattingly’s Health Care in Energy.

She was a Christian woman who spoke her mind and rarely backed down from her opinions.  She enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Survivors include-

Son- Wesley Browning and wife Pam of Granite City

Daughter- Rebecca Lindsey and husband Keith of Royalton

Son- Fred Presley and fiancé Maria of Mc Leansboro

Seventeen grandchildren

Twenty Five Great Grandchildren

Several nieces and many great nieces and nephews

Close friend- Pansy Hawes of Energy

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson- Bradley Presley, one brother and one sister.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Memorial arrangements were made at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
