Herrin- LaDonna Jean Stallons, age 78, of Herrin, passed away at 5:20am on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
LaDonna was born in Herrin on January 6, 1941. She married John Stallons, Jr. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2007. LaDonna was a homemaker, adored by many. She will be truly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Three Great Grandchildren- Gracie Meneese of Marion
twins Corbin and Cameron Hittmeier of Marion
Close family friend- Carolyn Eastman of Herrin
Beloved Dog- Cocoa
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister- Gertrude “Trudy” Eldridge, brother- Wallace “Wally” McVey,
and brother- John McVey.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
